"The Gadsden Standard"
Why "We the People... Still Do."
While the words "We the People" first appear in the U.S. Constitution, written in 1787, the spirit behind them was already alive in 1776. More than a decade earlier, Americans took a stand for liberty, self government, and their God given rights.
Christopher Gadsden's "Don't Tread on Me" flag became one of the earliest symbols of that resolve. The Gadsden Standard honors that spirit and serves as a reminder that those principles are still worth living for and standing for today.
